Juliette contacted me to take photos of her lovely family this fall. Through prior communication with her and because I knew she had great style already, I wanted to take her to a new location I found in Palo Duro Canyon. I had never shot in this location before and Juliette and her family were wonderful as they let me explore with them and navigate this new space! I absolutely loved the way Juliettes red hair stood out in this location!

I knew I wanted to embrace the exploratory nature of Juliettes kids so we allowed for plenty of time for them to just be themselves instead of standing in the same spot to pose over and over again. They showed their wildness at moments but for the most part, they just enjoyed playing games with each other and in this amazing location that was new for all of us!

This session was full of fun and natural interactions that bounced off of the walls of this canyon like a symphony. It was wonderful to watch this family play and enjoy their time together. It was like I was a fly on the wall, capturing all of the raw moments that make this family so amazing.
